Actively engaged in the planning of Lim Chu Kang (LCK) Masterplan Development

On 22-23 July 2021, our CEO Philip Gu was invited by Singapore Food Agency as one of the key stakeholders to participate and contribute to the Lim Chu Kang (LCK) Masterplan development. The government plans to develop the 1000 hectares site at the world class food tech and agritech hub as a successful showcase to the world.

Following our last ministerial visit to our Marine Aquaculture Centre (MAC) pilot facility, our Minister of State in the Ministry for Home Affairs and the Ministry for Sustainability and the Environment Desmond Tan also attended in these high-level meetings.

On behalf of SCU, Philip has expressed the company’s intention to devote resources and investment to develop and be part of this world class food-tech hub. Key themes of development which SCU will significantly take part in includes Industry & the Ecosystem, Climate Resilience & Sustainability as well as Brand of LCK as an International hub. In the pipeline, SCU aims to strengthen its presence with its retail & marketing partner at LCK.
