DAVOS, Switzerland, 20-21 January 2020 —For the second year in a row, Stemcell United (“SCU”) participated in CannaTech Davos Cannabis House along with other thought leaders, entrepreneurs, mavericks and scientists in the global cannabis innovation field. This exclusive event highlighted the economic role of cannabis in several sectors such as healthcare, international trade and investment.

Group CEO, Mr Philip Gu was invited to be the keynote speaker on the first day of the event. He delivered a speech titled “the Next Emerging Markets for Cannabis – Navigating Asia” where he provideda comprehensive insights on the progress in the legalization of industrial hemp and medical cannabis in Asia Pacific countries like China, Australia, Thailand, Laos, and Malaysia.

Mr Philip also highlighted on the company’s application of plant stem cell technologies on industrial hemp as well as the exciting development and progress it has made in several Asia countries. He believes that with the synergy of  technological advancements of Western countries in medical cannabis and industrial hemp, Asia countries will be benefited greatly, in particular, medical and agricultural sectors.
